Political correct is the word of the week choose your words wisely not to offend when you make a comment followed by a laugh or a smirk it is in bad taste.  What we find attractive seems to be okay his comments where not in bad taste just honest locker room jargon no different than seeing a beautiful man or woman on the street you find interesting. Bush 4 catches for 30 yards 1 touchdown.  D. Thomas scored a touchdown while adding 3 catches for 10 yards, the running game of the saints has movement put they are a flat out passing team D Breesy wind changing spirals combined with the deacon defense lead by J.Vilma stood strong guarding the golden gates.  A.Smith 23 passes for 275 yards with 1 touchdown pass, V.Davis 4 catches for 78 yards, J.Morgan 6 catches for 70 yards, F.Gore 7 catches for 56 yards with a touchdown. F. Gore rushed for 122 yards and A. Dixon rushed for 2 yards with a go ahead touchdown for the lead..  P.Willis,  A.Brooks, T. Spikes,  J.Smith dug through the saints offense mining for a total of  21 tackles and 2 sacks. Playing strong on both ends of the ball highlighted this coming out party for the saints and niners Mike singletary is doing something that is rarely seen coaching players into men making players accountable for there actions on and off the field, Sean Peyton is coaching a MIT offense on every down equations with square root end zone theory keep defenses guessing.

 

 

Week two was filled with anger and disappointment the cowboys are on track to be a year two bust looking like a folding chair in a  mansion, the jets are the walking wounded celebrating there victory over a lifeless patriot defenses winning but not impressive for a Superbowl contender,  they looked like a top ten national high school team versus a soft as baby shit defense. Which leads us to team America with Americans concerns about our offensive strategy yesterday in a town hall meeting, is there movement or we running countless draw plays on economics with one big play away from rebuilding our fiscal structure.  Everyone at the polls seeks results but who and where ? can we find out how this happen was anyone aware our playing field stretches from sea to sea with numerous players this charging administration takes the field looking to prove it can lead.

SnS a double standard

SnS is the them of the day sports and scandal Reggie Bush returned his Heisman trophy       ad mist the shame of being paid under the table for playing football. With a catch he is doing that now collegiate athletes don't look for a hand out but get it there is always some slick talking ball hanger looking for a easy pay day. Some athletes feel it's common to get cash what's wrong with taking, accepting money for a sport played on Saturday instead of  Sunday we have fans, shoe deals and television contracts there is a free education which could guarantee you a job.

 

 If the money is put to good use and the gifts as well no harm, there are some haters out there who like to extort once you pay them back and feel you owe theme more. Your name sells period people want you to appear here or endorse this cause you are a walking billboard. Economic hardship could result in more scandals as talented students feel the television networks and shoe companies are paying someone why not me.

 

 Could there be a double standard for women sports?, when is there scandal or sanctions handed down almost never, how does a male conduct himself in a female locker or is he just a reporter as a female would be in a male locker room.  Protocol or standard in sports has many tradition seen as indifferent woman fighting is seen as brutality or in poor taste followed by vulgar language but the norm in male sports. Women basketball and fast pitch baseball players are not integrate into professional mens leagues but set aside.

Coaching men's sports is about the alpha male syndrome a dominate figure head who leads with character Coolidge high school of (Washington, dc) hired the first female football coach seeing something more than that a coach a true leader regardless of gender. Athletics will always have a difference of opinion women have made great strides in sports and deserve equality to be treated like one of the guys but out of respect you can't cause there is a code of  conduct not to say a woman can't coach men or vice versa it has a grey area. Touching, language content so fourth with tolerance comes example women should be able to compete in the male sport of there choice.

The saints came marching in with early quick routes to M. Colston 28 yds and D.Henderson 29 yd touchdown grab getting the party started with a 69 yard first quarter drive.  M.Colston 62 yards on five catches lead all receivers, with pumps and dumps to D.Henderson 38 yards on 2 catches, R. Meachem 33 yards on three grabs J. Shockey and L. Moore also grabbing the pigskin for 23 yards a piece. The vikings defense looked like they were wasted on Bourbon street allowing  P.Thomas to dance through seems scoring a touchdown in the third quarter.  Mr. breezy didn't disappoint his accuracy along with his huddle command proves he's a top quarterback in the NFL.  The running game of  R.Bush  has not shown the Trojan flash of old utilized on kick and punt returns showing some speed as a safety valve coming out the backfield the offensive workload is on the arm of  brees. P.thomas has a ground game but not enough for four quaters,  the saving saints defense will be outstanding with pressure from J.Vilma behind W.smith and the deacons of defense. 

B. Farve found a target in V.Shiancoe who caught four passes for 76 yards and a touchdown Vinny end-zone looks to carry the seasons passing attack on his shoulders G. Camarillo can wheel the field he catching one pass for 29 yards but is enable to find timing with the quarterback, A.Peterson  punished the saints secondary the human scalpel precision runs can help the vikings stay in the playoff  hunt.  Defensively the vikings must become barbarian warriors raiding offensive backfields punishing quarterbacks and running backs for the ultimate treasure a Superbowl.   

 linebacker C.Greenway was a standout and looks to lead the Scandinavia storm collecting nine solo tackles against the saints J. Allen was doubled team most of the night as any good offensive will do allowing  J.Mitchell to  become a sack machine as he showed last night.

Unfolding is a season of  big goals and contracts creating a war behind closed doors for owners and players looking for a new union deal, guaranteeing money upfront only opens the door for a team to part ways with a non productive player early as we have seen over the past few years.  This years theme is familiar players in new places seeking glory, the Jets look to be a paper powerhouse but have yet to show us what will make them champions. As painful as it may sound it's about money a player told me in general conversation "I'm just a nigga trying to get bigga, a player inducted into the hall of fame didn't have money for lodging or tickets for his friends and family to attend, It's bullshit.  I'm going to get all i can down the road what is left a shit load of medical bills and a old jersey i would rather have a faded bank book then a jersey." 

As the presidents administration searches for answers to jump start a slow moving economy so does the NFL working through it's own economic turmoil sell out crowds thirsty for action and crushing hits will not play out for long as contracts become bigger owners feel they are loosing more of there revenues as stadiums drive up concession prices along with tickets. What will America do for its final drive many are thirsty for solutions has Washington drawn up up a new playbook or will this political locker be split with today elections the coach may have one trick left.

Boise Boyz

     Last night the broncos showed us how flawed college football has become as the little guy gave the bully a black eye, confidence is the concealment of fear as we saw a small program with a standard but confident recruiting class take the hookies of  Virgina tech to the wire with psychological football.  The new era of football which is played on paper with a formation of  X's and O's that would confuse Einstein left the hookies wondering how under matched players beat us on every down,  I asked a player once what makes you so good he looked and told me " I'm not that good my opponent is just that bad" using a defenders flaw to your advantage.  The hookies where napping on several plays thinking there is no way he can beat me for a pass or this running back is too small and lacks power. College football fans now stand up and recognize the little guy who is looking to hit the bully so why not let the BSC computer give us a preview of what could be.  Place the top 25 teams in the system and let the computer make a 3 week regular season schedule allowing  coaches to pick there remaining opponents shaking things up imagine if  Alabama was on the loosing end of a Boise state rally.  Major schools hide within powerhouse conferences increasing there rankings with a fall guy schedule lets get some action going no need to extend the schedule just place three BSC generated games in the schedule when the season ends everyone has a even chance.
